Kindermans: £18m Ace “Will Be A Main Man For Chelsea”

By on August 26, 2011

Anderlecht youth coach Jean Kindermans believes it won’t be long before Romelu Lukaku is the main man at Chelsea.

Chelsea completed the signing of the 18-year old last week for a fee thought to be around £18million. Kindermans admits Lukaku has a good physical presence that is reinforced with a confidence in his own ability.

Kindermans, director of youth football at Anderlecht, told the Daily Star:

“Once he receives his chance in the first team the supporters and the staff will see he is a real diamond. With a diamond you have to work hard and be careful with him and I’m sure that, in one or two seasons, he will be a main player for Chelsea.

“He was such a strong boy and a good player with a good mentality that he was always playing in age groups two or three higher than his at Anderlecht.

“We were always a little afraid of how he would do but every time he proved we didn’t need to be as he reached his targets faster than we thought.”

please AVB should buy Montolivo instead, since Modric deal is unlikely
