AVB: Forget Mata – Look At What Malouda Has Done For Chelsea

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has refuted claims that Florent Malouda is on the verge of leaving the club.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has refuted claims that Florent Malouda is on the verge of leaving the club.

Rumours had suggested Juventus were set to make a formal £5m offer for the French winger, however the Blues manager claims Malouda will not be departing from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Malouda was expected to be offloaded this summer especially after the arrival of Juan Mata. However, AVB has no plans to sell the wide man and admits the club can’t afford to let him leave:

“As we are speaking about the number of goals and assists that Mata has made at Valencia, let’s speak about the number that Malouda has made for Chelsea,” said the 33-year-old.

“We can’t let ourselves sell talent of this quality.”

one of the reasons why i like this damn new Chelsea manager, AVB. It is high time we learn to appreciate what our old players have done for us as far as EPL is concern. Your success is guaranteed at Chelsea. Chelsea for life.

Look at whom ..Malouda ? .. I seriously dnt understand the AVB stance. Apart from 09-10 season he has been ridiculously inconsistent and selfish. He never pass the ball to Torres and tht can be best viewed in last seasons West Ham game at SB for last goal. Nt a team player. He is so selfish ,that while playing for France , he goes for personal glory rather than his country.

Some of us don’t have plastic support! Some of us can count… how many goals has Malouda scored for us in the past two seasons? Now… how many has Torres scored?! Malouda’s not selfish, his assists speak for themselves, perhaps he doesn’t pass to Nando cuz he actually wants the ball
    to hit the net :p
