Liverpool take on Bolton at Anfield today on the back of two successive wins and a lot of confidence.

The Kop will be swinging all right. The Reds will try and get their first home win of the season when they face Bolton following a 1-1 draw with Sunderland on opening day.

I reckon that Liverpool will field a largely similar team to the one fielded against Sunderland two weeks ago, with the only difference being Martin Kelly at rightback instead of Jon Flanagan. If I’m not mistaken, Johnson is also available, but I would think that Martin Kelly would get the nod thanks to his quality performance against Arsenal last week at the Emirates.

Carroll and Suarez come in with lots of confidence, Suarez has 3 goals already this season (including 1 goal and two assists vs Exeter) and Carroll opened his account for this season with a sweet drive against Exeter in mid-week.

Liverpool FC Player to Watch: Jose EnriqueLet’s face it, I can’t pick Suarez every week for this. But Enrique too is now a key man for the reds. With assured performances at the back, along with the ability to come forward and pick out a pass, Enrique has been class since his move from Newcastle United. Man of the Match against Arsenal last week and I’m backing him to be putting in another good performance.

Bolton Player to Watch: Ivan Klasnic

Very close call between Klasnic and Gary Cahill, but I think that Klasnic will be more worrying here. Our defence is not fully stable yet and as exploited when conceding against Sunderland, Klasnic will be there to pick on the loose balls at the back and then trying to volley/shoot with power. He has already racked up 2 goals and one assist so he’s our Man to Watch for Bolton.
