Spurs Sign “Most Hated ex-Arsenal Player In History”

Harry Redknapp has claimed new loan signing Emmanuel Adebayor could become a real hit with the Spurs faithful, as he is the most hated player to have ever left Arsenal.

Redknapp has signed Emmanuel Adebayor on a season-long loan from Manchester City and expects the former Arsenal striker to be capable of winning over his new supporters. He added:

“If he (Adebayor) comes in and does fantastic they’ll all sing ‘there’s only one Adebayor’.

“If he’s useless they’ll sing something else. That’s football and it has never changed.

“No-one has fallen out with the Arsenal fans more than he has. He’s the most hated ex-Arsenal player in history. The fans will love the fact that the Arsenal fans don’t like him.

“If he comes here and does great we will want to keep him here.”

Unless they sign Frank Stapleton, or possibly Ashley Cole, then Redknapp is wrong. Adebayor is not even a footnote in Arsenal history. No Arsenal fan could give a toss about this journeyman prima donna.

Not a footnote or speck of dust? The comments suggest a nerve touched or why bother with the indignation. LMAO.

Because Delboy, it is necessary to correct people when they get their facts wrong. Cashley Cole is a MUCH more hated player than Adebay-snore… fact! You sound like you’re a Spud fan who’s happy to lap up our filthy cast-offs… enjoy!

Ah, diddums. You really never have got over Solzir 2001 have you. Never mind, one day you might sign an Arsenal captain or stalwart might you. Then again, hell might freeze over. Twitchy hasn’t touched a nerve; he’s touched a funnybone.

Why would we want to sign an Arsenal captain? Didn’t Barcelona beat us to it anyway? Then again, I think it was definately Cesc’s decision to leave. “Arsenal lack ambition” “They have gone stale.” A couple of quotes spring to mind lol. But never mind eh? Nasri may stay…. oh, I forgot he also left you! He said “I’m delighted to be joining a club with more passionate fans.” Fickle, I do appreciate, Man City are about as real as 21 year old sexy blonde with an old man, but it’s still funny to see. COYS!

Jamie – I like your comment about Man Sh**ty; credit where it’s due mate. As for Gallas, he was axed as skipper 3 months into a season for a 20 year old to replace him – it’s hardly Sol is it. It’s not even Pat Jennings for that matter.

Feed on leftovers? I don’t think so pal. Why are Chelski after Modric so much? I don’t see them sniffing around the Arsenal camp, probably because they’ve already been pillaged of anything decent and you’re stuck with the leftovers
