I’m a long time Arsenal supporter and I can say that Arsene Wenger got what he deserved. His stubborn attitude and his love of internal promotion has finally given him the wake up call that he needed. Fair enough the promotion of youngsters such as Wilshire, Walcott and Ramsey into the first team has looked like a good move but how can a team look to improve when there is no experience? Who do these young players ask for advice and previous experiences? Rosicky? Injured for 80% of his career. Arshavin? He played in the Russian League for the majority of his career. Wenger needs to sign some old heads to teach his kids the mental strength that is needed to win titles. Look at Manchester United. Last season they had an average team with only two standout players in Rooney and Vidic. Yet with old heads like Giggs, Scholes, Neville, Ferdinand and even Evra they managed to be a team of CONSISTENCY. Thats what wins titles Arsene.
