Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Sebastian Coates for a fee in the region of £7m.
The Uruguay international has put pen to paper on a long term contract after completing a medical and agreeing personal terms. The transfer was delayed slightly due to work permit issues, but these have been ironed out and the deal has been confirmed on Liverpool.tv.
The 20-year-old moves to Merseyside from Nacional and will meet up with his new team mates after the international break.
