Redknapp Hails Parker Signing

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp feels Scott Parker is the perfect signing for the club, as he’ll bring qualities both on and off the field.

The England international handed in a transfer request  in order to secure a move to White Hart Lane, with the deal formally completed yesterday afternoon, and Redknapp thinks his professionalism is exactly what his Spurs side need.

“He’s a good player. I think he’s what we need. He’s a good lad, great attitude.

“Footballer of the year last year and he’ll be a good addition for this team – no doubt about that.

“He’s a good character, a fantastic person, a proper family man, a real good pro. He’ll be great around the place for us.”

Spurs leaving all their transfer activity to the last day and then only managing to bring in one player sums up what a cowboy operation is at White Hart Lane. As a Spurs fan, I wish the management had the sense and know how of Liverpool who got their player purchases in early so that the players had time to gel pre-season.

Was not too long ago Liverpool fans were wishing they were run like spurs.

Still they have just spent an obscene amount and still dont have a stronger team than us.

We have just started the season off with lots of injuries, the modric affair and played the best 2 teams in the prem.

We will finish 4th with Parker and Adebeyor here.

What Liverpool know-how? They saw us going for Bellamy and reacted by hi-jacking the deal.
They are desperate and in fear of us.
We just need to justify that fear.
