Arsenal Ace: Forget Fabregas & Nasri, New Signings Will Make Impact

New Arsenal signing Mikel Arteta insists he has not been brought to the club to fill the boots of Cesc Fabregas or Samir Nasri, and insists the new signings will make an impact.

The former Everton playmaker has been muted as the perfect replacement for Fabregas but is asking for patience as he is looks to adapt to his new club.

“They were two top players for the club, they did really, really well in the last few years and now we have some new players coming in to try and make the same impact. I am sure we will,” he told Arsenal Player.

“I don’t want the fans to be expecting the same as them because every player is different.

“We need some time to adapt as well, but I am sure that we will give everything we can to make this team better.”

The 29-year old secured a £10million deadline day move to North London last Wednesday.

I believe that judging the book by its cover is like taking the bull by its horns, let su wait for them and prove their worth.but we eare very glad to have these players coz we have been very badly off

Yes lets let Atreta be the new “Arteta”.

I think a fully fit and “keen to play” Arteta is far better than a half fit and “Ive got Barca DNA” Fabregas, anyway.

The two defensive signings seem like they were custom made for our team, and Gervinho seems to be able to go past full backs at will.

Now if we can just get Jack and Tommy fit well have a real run at the title this year, mark my words.

Also not much is being said about Yosi, but personally i think hes gonna be a major player in the team this year. Great vision loves to slide the through ball in between the centre backs, and hes the Isreali National Captain, thats gotta hit those Spuds where it hurts.
