Arsenal have reportedly held discussions with Manchester United target Mateo Kovacic over a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.

The 17-year old is highly rated at Dinamo Zagreb and the Gunners are keen to land the playmaker in January. United are also keen on the midfielder and have already sent scouts to watch the promising Austrian midfielder.

Sir Alex Ferguson will not want to miss out on another promising youngster to old rival Arsene Wenger, after the Gunners secured the signing of Aaron Ramsey two years ago which left Fergie fuming after failing to land the Welsh captain.

Kovacic should speak with Ramsey and Compare what Manu and Arsenal have won since he chose Arsenal and if He would choose differently knowing now where the success is.
