Wayne Rooney’s penalty miss against Chelsea on Sunday brought back memories of John Terry’s vital miss from the spot during Chelsea’s shoot-out loss against United in the 2008 Champions League Final. Both Rooney and Terry slipped at the vital second and sent the ball wide of the post. Of course Rooney’s miss turned out to be far less important compared to Terry’s!
