He would have gone to Chelsea if his family was not threatened!

HA ha ha really good one but no Stevie G isn’t leaving coz we need him to lift the loads of trophies we are on course of winning + Stevie has unfinished business he needs to add Premier League champions medals to his collection of winners medal. Anzhi should have a go at Lampard or Carrick instead since they look more like leaving

I think he has earned himself s good pay day… So I would understand if he went as long as he gets a minimum of £250,000 per week and we get £35 m + for him! Then after two years come back!

This is got to be an absolute rubbish rumour,If Gerrard had to leave he would have left by now he is already 31 and will retire in a red shirt in all probability .

never say never, whilst I would like to be confident of him never leaving at this stage if he decided he wanted one big payday then why not I hope he stays to see Liverpool once again on top of the premiership.

I would understand if he decided to go to Russia for that kind of money. At this stage of his career he has to start thinking of his retirement & he’s given LFC incredible service & loyalty over many years. In his heart, he’ll always be a Red.

He would never live in Moscow (and train there) and fly to Dagestan for homematches. He neither would play for a team, that only has Roberto Carlos (at 37) and S. Eto’o (at 30) and Zhirkov (former Chelski) as their only stars. No way – it would be like moving to Tranmere….
