AVB Defends Torres Red Card

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has defended Fernando Torres after his dismissal against Swansea City.

Despite scoring again for the Blues, Torres was shown a red card for his two-footed tackle on Mark Gower. Chelsea boss Villas-Boas had no complaints with referee Mike Dean’s decision to brandish the red card but admits he won’t be seeking an apology from the £50million striker

“There’s nothing to apologise for,” Villas-Boas said. “It’s the referee’s decision.”

Admitting it was a “good decision” by Dean, he added:

“It’s part of the nature of the game, and the referee has decided on that.

“It’s a pity because the spectacle was promising.”

Despite going down to 10 men Chelsea comfortable cruised to a 4-1 victory. You can watch the tackle here.

Is a final decision 4 referee making on fernando torres tackle, Nothing wil can do on it. Blues 4ever.

AVB please forgive torres for that reckless tackle, he seems T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ be playing fine now and will continue if he gets more playing chances.. Pls make ǎ̜̣̍ legal appeal for deans decision and bring our boy(torres) back T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ the game T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ tump in more goals……CHELSEA for life…..

I think torres tackle is not as bad as red card but i beleive nobody is perfect.i know ref. Made mistake by sending him off ’cause torres did not brush d guy and if AVB appeal this may be wave
