Harry Praises Luka Modric Ahead Of Crucial Arsenal Tie

By on October 2, 2011

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he’s been delighted with Luka Modric’s form this season, as the club prepare to welcome rivals Arsenal to White Hart Lane.

The playmaker has refused to allow the disappointment of not being allowed to join Chelsea affect his performance for the club. Redknapp said:

“I know some players who would never have played for the club again and smashed the chairman’s door down and demanded to move, but not Luka. If he was disappointed I have seen none of it. There hasn’t been one day when he’s sulked.

“I love him as a player and to lose him would have been a massive blow to the club.

“I just wish other players were as easy to deal with.”

Tottenham refuted several approaches from Chelsea for their Croatian international, in the summers most documented transfer saga.
