Liverpool Ace Gunning For Man Utd

Liverpool winger Stewart Downing insists they’ll go into next Saturday’s clash with Manchester United without fear.

The bitter rivals lock horns in next weekend’s early kick off and the England wide man is in confident mood following their derby victory over Everton last Saturday.

“We’re going into the break in good form and we have to ensure we keep it going,” said Downing.

“The Manchester United game will be tough but we’ll look forward to it. If we keep playing the way we are then we’ve got a decent chance of beating anyone.”

Liverpool are currently six points behind their rivals and hope a win at Anfield can reduce United’s lead at the top of the table.
