Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are set to battle it out for Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa, according to reports.

The playmaker is rated as one of the brightest youngsters in the Bundesliga, with a whole host of Europe’s elite chasing the 22-year old. Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is particular keen on the Japanese star, with reports emerging from Germany suggesting the Scot has sent scouts to watch the midfielder.

Kagawa still has 2 years to run on his current deal and potential suitors will have to shell out at least £18million to land the former Cerezo Osaka starlet. Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus have also been linked with the Dortmund ace, but the will face stiff competition from the Premiership big spenders who will be the favourites to land the Asian star.
