Former Chelsea Ace Believes Neymar Should Join Barca

Former Chelsea and Barcelona playmaker Deco believes Brazilian wonderkid Neymar should move to the Nou Camp.

The Santos star is expected to join either Barcelona or Real Madrid next summer, with Jose Mourinho favourite to land one of the world’s most sought after talents.

Chelsea have also been strongly linked with the South American starlet, but rumours suggest the 19-year old is set for a move to La Liga and Deco believes Barcelona is the right place for Neymar to flourish.

“If Neymar asked me about Barca, I’d explain my experiences and say that he can be happy in Barcelona, but we have not talked about it,” he said.

“Neymar is a great player. Has a whole career ahead him and is sure to be one of the greats of football. Only time will tell if he reaches the level of Messi.”
