Arsene Wenger Identifies Spanish Winger As January Transfer Target

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in Valencia midfielder Pablo Hernandez as he lines up his January targets.

Media outlet Cadena Ser believes Hernandez has been added to Wenger’s shortlist of potential January swoops, which also includes teammate Dani Parejo and Real Madrid’s Esteban Granero.

The Valencia winger has been likened to former colleague David Silva who now plays his trade with Manchester City, and the 26-year old has been excellent for Los Che in recent years and was even linked with a move to La Liga rivals Real Madrid in the summer.

Arsene Wenger is under increasing pressure at the Emirates following a poor start to the campaign with a spate of injuries disrupting his first team plans, and it’s believed the Frenchman is willing to enter the market in January in a bid to bolster his squad.
