TRANSFER NEWS: Arsenal Line-Up Shock Move For Striker

By on October 14, 2011

Reports emerging in several media outlets suggest Arsenal could make a surprising January move for Chelsea forward Didier Drogba.

The Chelsea powerhouse has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, with suggestions that talks have broken down over his current contract that expires next summer.

Andre Villas-Boas could be tempted to cash in on the 33-year old in January or risk losing him for nothing next summer. It remains to be seen if Chelsea would sell one of their star strikers to a rival and would prefer to sell Drogba aboard with PSG and Bayern Munich both showing an interest in the Ivorian.

The move is thrown into further doubt with Wenger notoriously known for preferring players with a resale value, something that would be minimal with the veteran striker.

We need four or five players in january transfer window, like eiden hazard, or didier drogba, m’villa, or mario gotze, vargas, or montalivo, baines, jagielka, or gary cahill, that is my advise to official of arsenal. Gunners 4die

You guys must have lost your minds talking about RVP leaving. He is the best player in our squad and we don’t wanna lose any more stars. We want to add not balance (lose and gain). Anyone can come in but RVP must stay even if Wenger has to double his pay.

No rubbish talk think about it african nation cup to old for arsenal were good player but at the end of his career. As for how how team is playing i like to see how many team would cope losing 3 of there midfield we all have to remember that wenger has built 2 teams before. he made a big mistake in not having the replacements but this down to barcelona messing about now day tell as that he was to cheep. a
As for nasri wanted to leave long before he played a handful of very games it all went to his head. The biggest was wilshire not being fit. There to many injured players but you must take in that we play a very high tense game and this cause these injuries. As for the back of how defence no one takes control this should be the goalkeeper he see more than any on on the field experience counts for.
