Arsenal Trio Arteta, Frimpong & Coquelin Praised
Welsh captain Aaron Ramsey has welcomed the addition of Mikel Arteta to the Arsenal squad praising the Spaniard’s technique and creativity.
The former Cardiff starlet has been impressed with Arteta since his £10m arrival from Everton in the summer, and feels he can be a creative force on the field for the Gunner.
“He has fantastic technique and he can pass the ball really well so he will definitely bring that to the team,” he told the Arsenal Player.
“He can create opportunities and he will bring his own style which will hopefully help us.”
Ramsey has also taken the time to hail youngsters Emmanuel Frimpong and Francis Coquelin, who have both forced their way in to Arsene Wengers plans this season, and is happy with the extra competition for midfield places.
“They’ve done well, they are always eager to play and train extremely hard,” he told arsenal.com.
“It means there’s a bit of competition in there now and everybody is working hard. Everybody is keeping each other on their toes I think and it’s nice to have that competition.”
