TRANSFER NEWS: Chelsea & Man Utd Linked With £40m La Liga Ace

By on October 26, 2011

Athletic Bilbao striker Iker Muniain is being monitored by Premiership duo Chelsea and Manchester United, according to Spanish sources.

The forward was in fine form this weekend, scoring his third goal this season against Spanish giants Valencia and putting Europe’s elite on red alert.

Sources from Spain suggest that Muniain has been subject of interest from numerous European clubs, with the 18-year-old’s £40 million release clause putting only the top sides at the frontline to sign the star in January.

It’s believed Chelsea and Manchester United will continue to track the starlet but its unlikely that either club will sanction a move in January, with both clubs keen to see how the Athletic Bilbao star progresses before making their moves.

No, Utd can’t afford him. In any case, it’s departures that are urgent now. SAF, JE, RF, DF, Mc…you can add to this list even more. All these old and very old people should just leave before Utd morphs into a new Liverpool.
