Dalglish Reveals Luis Suarez Concerns

By on October 28, 2011

Luis Suarez picked up a knock from Liverpool’s mid-week encounter with Stoke City and is a slight doubt to face West Brom this weekend.

Suarez was instrumental in Liverpool’s fightback against Stoke in the Carling Cup, scoring two goals to lead the Reds into the Quarter Finals. However, Dalglish admits his striker has received treatment following the game:

He’s had a bit of treatment so we’ll see how he is. He’s had a tough time recently, so we’ll see how he is tomorrow.

Along with talking about his fitness in the pre-match conference in the build-up to the West Brom encounter, he also added how speechless Luis Suarez left him after his double single handedly helped Liverpool overhaul Stoke City.

I said it the other night, my vocabulary ran out within a week when the wee man came here.

He’s been fantastic and the great thing him about him is that he is very unassuming as well.

Everybody can see what he can do on the pitch. He’s got no edge to him. He doesn’t think he is better than anyone else and he’s fantastic in and around the football club. He’s a great ambassador for the club as well.
