Tottenham beat QPR 3-1 at White Hart Lane thanks to a double from Gareth Bale. The Welshman put Tottenham ahead with a fine left footed finish before Rafael Van der Vaart doubled the home sides lead to make it 2-0 at the break. QPR got themselves back in the game after Bothroyd headed home, but Bale sealed the win for Spurs with another superb left footed effort.
