Dalglish Hits Back At Luis Suarez Criticism

By on November 7, 2011

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has slammed West Bromwich Albion midfielder Paul Scharner for suggesting Luis Suarez is a diver.

Following West Brom’s defeat to Liverpool last weekend, Scharner suggested the Uruguayan striker went down a little too easily. However, Dalglish believes the former Wigan man should try and make some headlines for what he does on the pitch, not for what he says off it. The Anfield boss said:

“Oh well, he’s a good player. That’s him who come off injured?

“Players should just concentrate on getting publicity for what they do on the pitch.

“People try and find it easy to criticise Luis because he is such a good player. Rather than wax lyrical about him, they try and find a fault that they see in him but isn’t there.

“For us, Luis Suarez does fantastic — there is nothing for us to defend about him.”

Dalglish was a of mine as a player a pity he doesnt grace the managerial chair with the same class and dignity he showed on the pitch.Last year he had a 360 degree 3D vision of our two penalties which he said were definitely not.The Suarez incident which happened in the same area of the pitch he did not see.Suarez did not dive and did not even look for a foul, unusual for him as he tumbles rather easily and appeals for everything. He is a wonderful player but should stop moaning and complaining like his manager
