Arsenal Scout £20m Man Utd & Liverpool Target

Arsenal had scouts watch Borussia Dortmund star Mario Gotze score a brace at the weekend intensifying rumours the Gunners are preparing a bid for the starlet.

The gifted German youngster scored twice in Dortmund’s 5-1 thrashing of Wolfsburg, with several reports claiming they will not sell midfielder Gotze in January and will only listen to offers starting at £20million in the summer.

19-year old Gotze had been hailed as one of the biggest prospects in Europe, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid interested in signing the winger.

The German international is expected to leave the club next summer but admits he is happy at Dortmund, afterwards Gotze said: “I am really happy here. That is all that counts.”. But Arsenal are thought to be leading the race to snap up the German ace next summer.
