Suarez-Evra Race Row Set To Continue As Striker Speaks Out

The race-row between Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra is set to continue after the Liverpool striker has revealed he wants an apology from the Manchester United defender.

The Sun reports that the Uruguayan will demand an apology from Evra if he is cleared of the racist allegations hanging over him. Manchester United left-back Evra accused the former Ajax man of the remarks in their clash at Anfield last month.

Despite the claims the Liverpool hitman is adamant there was no wrongdoing and has been backed by his club. Suarez said:

“We have to wait to see this issue decided and then the Manchester player and I will have to clear things up.

“Depending on who ends up in the wrong, one of us will have to apologise.

“The English FA will have to clear it up with him, because there is no proof I have said anything racist. I didn’t say anything like that to him.”
