Ive not even bothered reading the dross, the headline was enough!
Nothing to do with ‘Spurs faithful’ or anything else. He was not for sale – End of! He wasn’t going anywhere.

He could have got really stroppy (like Tevez) demanding a move and going awol, but what I think VdV means is that he was pleasantly surprised at the reception he got from the fans, and put it behind him and and got on with the job, where we are now sitting level on points with the chavs with a game in hand. Hopefully by the end of the season we will be above them too (3rd maybe) and he and the other players wont have any reason to want to move.
