Ramsey No Regrets Despite Possible Wenger Run-In

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has no issue being the face of the Great Britain Olympic team, despite the possibility he could be on course for a collision with boss Arsene Wenger.

The Wales skipper insists his stance over the tournament has not changed and he still wants to play in the London 2012 games, even though club manager Wenger has voiced his concerns over his players taking part. Welsh youngsters Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey have been pictured in the team GB shirt and seem destined to be selected as part of the squad, something welcomed by the Gunners midfielder:

“I don’t regret what I was doing. My view hasn’t changed.

“If it doesn’t affect Wales’ identity then I still want to play.

“These little things are only going to help me become a stronger person and a better captain.”
