Robin van Persie continued his impressive goal scoring run with another brace to help Arsenal overcome Norwich 1-2 at Carrow Road. Despite Arsenal dominating the early exchanges, in which they wasted several opportunities, Norwich made them pay after Morison pounced on a Mertesacker mistake to put the home side 1-0 up. Arsenal got back on level terms through van Persie who tapped home after good work from Walcott, then the Dutchman scored a superb chip in the second half to make it 2-1 and send the Gunners above Liverpool in to fifth.
