Arsenal lost ground in the chase for fourth spot after only managing a 1-1 draw with Fulham at the Emirates yesterday evening. Arsenal were lacklustre throughout and went behind after the unlucky Thomas Vermaelen put through his own net midway through the second half. However, the Belgian defender made up for his earlier error to level things up, heading home a Walcott cross for 1-1. The Gunners couldn’t find a winner and the game ended all square.
