Tottenham ace Gareth Bale has spoken out on rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona, saying that while he’s happy at White Hart Lane he wouldn’t be afraid of a move abroad.

European champions Barcelona have been linked with a £30m move for Bale and the Welshman has made to secret of his desire to play abroad on day. The winger once again stressed that he wouldn’t be afraid of a move overseas if the opportunity arose but eased the nerves of Spurs fans by insisting he’s happy at White Hart Lane and enjoying his football at the club:

“It’s obviously nice to be linked with such great clubs as that,” Bale told the Daily Mail.

“But, as far as I know, nothing’s going on.”

“I am happy at Tottenham and I’m enjoying my football. Obviously in your career you want to achieve as much as you can. If, one day, the opportunity to go abroad came up I would not be afraid to go. But I am enjoying my football at Tottenham. And we are on the up.”

Barca he’s going to cost you 90m. Think about Carrol 38m sits on the bench and Torres 50m sits on the bench. So if you want someone as good as Bale he must be worth every penny of 90m.

How long is this regurgitated bulls**t going to continue, it’s getting rather boring and irritating to read the same tripe over and over again dressed up under a different headline, cant you lazy arseholes find another subject to write about and I dont mean more made up stories like Modric to cheatski yet again or Sandro to Milan or even Kaboul to juventus. Pleaser, change the tune and stop following the daily fail lead, it’s all pure nonsense.

We cannot afford losing neither our regular nor irregular players at this crucial stage. However we need to give some of our irregular players playing time so they keep abreast of PL experience.

This is all because of the pernicious scheming and manipulative scum at Barca. They tap players up through the press without even admitting they want a player. They start by saying the player is being over priced – and so get everyone talking about it. Then they involve talk about that player in their presidential elections to fuel things further. Then they offer pitiful sums to sign the player – before eventually getting them for whatever price is agreed by the club trying to cope with a key player having his head turned.

We’ve seen this with a two year non-negotiation over Fabregas – and now Bale is on their list. Though if I were Bale, I’d aim higher than Barca. Real would surely be interested wouldn’t they?
