Good for them. We don’t really need him anymore since Koscielny has finally come out of his shell and The Verminator’s over his recent injuries. Then we’ve got The Mert and Djourou. Failing all of them- Miquel and Squillacci. We’re fine.

So, you’ve got “The Mert” have you ? Let me break it to you gently; “he is pure sh*te”, International or not. Kos is still unpredictable, same with Djourou. Miquel is too inexperienced and Squillaci is, well, poodoo. The only one I’d take is “The Verminator”…then again, I suspect Vertonghen will be equally as good as the Verm (should we get him)…COYS.

It seems they are just repeating the People story and things getting a bit lost in translation. It doesn’t appear a done deal at all, just a possible target and it has to be said a very good one

Harry, This story is most likely just a rumour and he may well end up with the gunners as he know vermalen well, but he is not as good as him anyway. Mert has showed alot of improvements but as spurs fan your blind to that. Im a Arsenal fan and I still think the way spurs are playing at the moment is great, Grow up a bit mate.
