Liverpool Target – “I Really Hope I Can Go To Chelsea, It’s My Dream”

Serbian starlet Lazar Markovic has spoken of his desire to join Premier League side Chelsea, claiming it is his “dream” to play for the Blues.

Markovic currently plays for Partizan Belgrade and has impressed during his 14 appearances so far, scoring 6 goals. The 17-year-old has attracted interest from all over Europe including Chelsea’s rivals Liverpool, who are believed to be one of several clubs scouting the striker in recent months.

However, the player has his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge and revealed he has followed the club since he was a child:

“I really hope I can go to Chelsea, it’s my dream,” he told The Sun.

“I’m told there were 20 scouts from all over Europe in the VIP box when we beat Red Star.

“But Chelsea is the place I want to play. I had all the pictures of the team on my wall at home back to when they had Gianfranco Zola.

“And any time they are on TV I try to watch them. For me Chelsea are the best.

“I want to go to the Premier League. It is the best league in the world.”
