Villas-Boas – “Fernando Torres Not For Sale At Any Price”

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has hit back at reports suggesting Fernando Torres could be sold this January by insisting the striker is not for sale at any price.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that striker Fernando Torres is not for sale at any price.

Several news agencies reported yesterday that the Blues were ready to cut their losses with Torres, who has endured a nightmare 11 months in West London following his £50m move from Liverpool last January, and they were prepared to listen to offers in the region of £20m.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference this morning, Villas-Boas responded by categorically stating that the Spaniard is in his plans and is not for sale at any price, either now or in the summer:

 “Fernando Torres is not for sale at any price, now or in the summer.”
