Tottenham and Chelsea drew 1-1 in an entertaining London derby at White Hart Lane last night. Spurs came flying out the blocks and took an early lead, Adebayor tapping home a Bale cross after just 8 minutes. The visitors were back on level terms just 15 minutes later when Cole crossed for Sturridge to score from close range. Both sides had chances to win it in the second half but the game ended 1-1 and the spoils were shared.

Neither side will be happy with just a point as both clubs were desperate  to boost their title credentials with a win to close the gap on the two Manchester clubs. Spurs stay third on 35 points, 7 behind Man Utd with a game in hand. Chelsea are fourth on 33 points, 1 ahead of fifth placed Arsenal. Here are player ratings from the game.
