I hope this story is true because we don’t want him at Liverpool FC. Aston Villa are trying to trick Liverpool into parting with nearly 30 million pounds for another average signing. Looks like King Kenny has turned Liverpool FC into a laughing stock.

Well I would certainly be unhappy if he left for less than £40 million, so I guess we are in agreement.
What I don’t like is that whenever it is Liverpool, it always seems to be leaked to the media first, before an official approach is made. Then, if the Gareth Barry affair is anything to go by, once the player has been unsettled, Liverpool will try to drive down the fee.
When we bought Bent, there was none of that ‘tapping up’; Villa approached Sunderland, made a fair offer, Sunderland agreed to it and a deal was done. Why can’t Liverpool behave like that?

Agree… Liverpool need to be more direct with their buisness. Deals like this could have been done already if they just did what other teams do. Sumbit an offer and see if the other team likes it, instead of all this talk and rumours which no body likes

I want Darren Bent and Demba Ba at Liverpool and get rid of Andy Carroll back to Newcastle.

decent option..definitely better than carroll based on current form..
but if we really spend upwards of 12-15 million for him seydou doumbia & soldado would be far far better options..

£12 – £15 million? We paid £24 million, he’s on a four-year contract, and he’s come on in leaps and bounds over the last 12 months. The Alex McLeish affair would be like a tea party compared to the uproar there would be if we did not make a substantial profit.
I for one would be livid if he went for less than £40 million, bearing in mind you paid £35 million for Carrol.
And anyway, can you really see him forming a happy partnership with Suarez?
40m for bent idiot

Are you serious 40m for bent. yes Liverpool paid alot for Carroll but he’s young. bent is older an shit and always will be that’s why he does play for a top club. he’s worth 10 max.
