Tottenham vs Wolves: Team News, Likely Line-up & Predicted Score
High-flying Tottenham Hotspur entertain Wolves at White Hart Lane on Saturday. Here we preview the game, with likely line-up and predicted score for the game.
High-flying Tottenham entertain Wolves at White Hart Lane on Saturday looking for three points that will see them go level with league leaders Manchester City.
Much of the pre-match talk has been about Tottenham”s credentials as genuine title contenders, but even a die-hard Arsenal fan would have to admit their North London neighbours are right in the mix, especially if they can beat Wolves tomorrow.
Harry Redknapp has his men playing some wonderful free-flowing football this season and Mick McCarthy will have his work cut out trying to contain the likes of Bale, Modric and Lennon this weekend.
Tottenham Team News
Harry Redknapp will give Scott Parker every chance to prove his fitness for the game, with the Spurs boss confirming this afternoon that he is hopeful the midfielder will recover from a knee injury in time to start.
Should Parker fail to make it, Jake Livermore will continue in the middle after impressing against Everton on Wednesday. Ledley King, William Gallas, Tom Huddlestone and Sandro remain on the sidelines.
With the possible exception of Parker, Redknapp should name a largely un-changed line-up from the side that saw off Everton 2-0 in mid-week, although Jermaine Defoe could come in to the side in place of Rafael van der Vaart.
Likely Tottenham Line-up
Tottenham are in such good form it’s hard to see beyond a home win. Wolves can be a tough nut to crack at times and on their day Mick McCarthy’s men can cause any team problems, but i’m going for another Spurs win to cement themselves are true title contenders. 2-0 Tottenham.
