Tottenham missed the chance to go level on points with league leaders Manchester City after only managing a 1-1 draw with Wolves at White Hart Lane. Wolves took a shock lead against the run of play, Johnson’s header was only parried by Friedel and Fletcher was on hand to tap home from close range.
But Spurs got back on level terms shortly after half time, when a 20-yard Modric effort squirmed under Hennessey for 1-1. Neither side could score a second and Tottenham will see this as a missed opportunity in the title race. Watch highlights here.
