Finally Some Positive Injury News For Arsenal As Sagna Returns To Full Training

Bacary Sagna took part in his first training session this morning after four months on the sidelines with a broken ankle sustained against Tottenham in October.

After months of having to endure a crippling injury crisis, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel Gooners. One of the players i feel we’ve missed the most in recent months confirmed he’s back in full training today. That’s right, it’s return of the Bac!

Bacary Sagna took part in his first full training session this morning after four months on the sidelines with a broken ankle sustained against Tottenham in October. Sagna used his personal Twitter profile (@sagnaofficial) to announce the news earlier today saying:

“Hello my friends hope you’re all good and healthy…very exciting day for me as back to full training with the team for the 1st time.”

Team mate Thomas Vermaelen later used his Twitter profile (@T_Vermaelen05) to show his support for Sagna’s return, saying:

“Congrats to my mate @Sagnaofficial for his 1st session with the team after moths of injury! Saw some good free kicks from u!! Keep it going!”

It may take the Frenchman a couple of weeks to regain full match fitness but i for one can’t wait for him to be back in the famous Red & White again. He’s been sorely missed and I personally believe we’d be sitting in fourth place at least right now if Sagna had been playing over the last four months.

Hopefully we can get Gibbs back within the next two or three weeks as well and we’ll have something that resembles a solid back four again!

do u think gibbs is a better left back than the belgian international left back and captain then? cos i for one do not. i just wish we would sign a better centre back than vermaelen, so that tv can operate and settle in down the left as there are few left backs around better than him but there are quite a few centre backs better than him. hummels, subotic, samba, vertonghen i would go for two of these with koscielny and mertesacker and miquel being the back up. sell djourou, hoyte and squillaci, bring bartley back in the summer,

I await the news after the transfer window closes that Sagna has a groin strain and is out for 3 weeks which turns into 6 weeks. Does this sound familiar.

    I hope I am wrong
