[Video] Carlos Vela Scores Against Barcelona In 2-1 Defeat At The Nou Camp

By on February 5, 2012

Arsenal striker Carlos Vela got himself on the scoresheet for on-loan club Real Sociedad during a 2-1 defeat to Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Saturday night.

With Barcelona already 2-0 up thanks to goals from Tello and Messi, Vela pulled one back with a neat finish past Victor Valdes. I, like many Arsenal fans, had high hopes for the Mexican and could see he had the talent to become a star at the Emirates, but things haven’t worked out and Vela has spent much of the last 2 years on loan in Spain. Hopefully he can come back in the summer and kick start his Arsenal career.

I want Vela back, Arshavin’s time is over-he’s still got the spark but no fuel. Carlos should even take no. 23

Thats how we’ve been wanting him to finish for years! Calm, in control and so much more effective than the unpredictable lob which he loves so much! now all we have to do is curb his flailing to the floor at the slightest touch!
