[Teams] Man Utd vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-ups From OT

By on February 11, 2012

Manchester United and Liverpool lock horns at Old Trafford in the early Saturday kick off with much of the pre-match talk centred around the reunion of Patrice Evra and Luis Suarez.

Suarez was suspended for eight games after being found guilty of racially abusing Evra, and therefore missed the Reds FA Cup tie against United at Anfield in January, but the two will come together once again today.

Kenny Dalglish has recalled the Uruguayan striker with Andy Carroll dropping to the bench. Dirk Kuyt and Stewart Downing also start. Fergie makes one change with Paul Scholes coming in for Ashley Young.

Here are the confirmed teams:

Man Utd Team

De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Rooney, Welbeck

SUBS: Berbatov, Park, Hernandez, Fabio, Cleverley, Amos, Pogba.

Liverpool Team

Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique; Henderson, Spearing, Gerrard; Kuyt, Suarez, Downing

SUBS: Doni, Carragher, Bellamy, Carroll, Adam, Shelvey, Kelly.

We’ll have video highlights up shortly after full time, so check back later.
