Luis Suarez has had a difficult season so far. He was banned for one match by the FA for making an ‘obscene’ gesture to Fulham fans, then banned for a further eight games for the whole Patrice Evra affair. But things got really bad when the striker returned to action at Old Trafford last weekend, as he caused a stir for not shacking the Frenchman’s hand before the game with United.
Fans, pundits and player alike were calling him a ‘disgrace’ and some even suggesting the club should sell the troublesome Uruguayan. However, one group has stood firm in their defence and support of Suarez; the Liverpool fans.
