[Video Goals] Sunderland 2-0 Arsenal: From Bad To Worse For Gunners

By on February 18, 2012

Arsenal’s week went from bad to worse after being knocked out the FA Cup by Sunderland following a 2-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light this evening. The Gunner’s were once again way below par and i think this could have even been a worse performance than the Milan debacle on Wednesday.

Sunderland opened the scoring just before half time when Richardson’s drive was deflected into his own net via Squillaci. Arsenal showed very little going forward and were hit on the counter when Sessegnon burst clear to set up Larsson who hit the post only for the rebound to deflect in for another own goal, this time via Chamberlain.
