[Video Goals] Arsenal 5-2 Tottenham: Gunners Batter Sorry Spurs

By on February 26, 2012

Arsenal came from two-down to beat local rivals Tottenham 5-2 at the Emirates and move back into fourth spot in the premier league table.

Saha put the visitors ahead after just 4 minutes after a deflected effort looped over Szczesny. Spurs then doubled their lead in controversial circumstances when Bale clearly dived in the area but the referee awarded a penalty which was converted by former Arsenal player Adebayor.

However, Sagna headed home to make it 1-2 before a stunning van Persie effort levelled the score before half time. Arsenal produced a superb second half display with Rosicky putting the home side ahead for the first time before a double from Walcott made it 5-2. Scott Parker was sent off late on for a second booking and will now miss the United game next week. Watch the highlights here:
