[Teams] Birmingham vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-ups

By on March 6, 2012

Chelsea start life without Andre Villas-Boas tonight as they face Birmingham City at St. Andrews tonight in their FA Cup replay.

Roberto Di Matteo will be in the hot seat for his first game for the Blues after being placed in charge until a new manager is found.

The Italian has left Frank Lampard, Michael Essien, Daniel Sturridge and Didier Drogba on the bench, while Ashley Cole is ruled out entirely. Youngster Ryan Bertrand is given a chance to impress at left back, while Fernando Torres also starts.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Birmingham Team

Doyle; Spector, Davies, Ibanez, N’Daw; Redmond, Mutch, Gomis, Elliott; Rooney, Zigic.

SUBS: Myhill, Packwood, Valles, Reilly, Burke, Jervis, King.

Chelsea Team

Cech; Ivan, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand; Ramires, Mikel, Meireles; Kalou, Torres, Mata

SUBS: Hilario, Essien, Lampard, Terry, Sturridge, Lukaku, Drogba

We’ll have video highlights up on the site shortly after the final whistle, so check back later.
