Tomas Rosicky put in another superb performance during Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Monday night. The 31-year-old Czech Republic captain has excelled in recent weeks playing in the advanced central midfield role and looks a completely different player to the one we saw earlier in the season.
We’ve always known Rosicky has talent but injuries have killed his Arsenal career in the last couple of seasons, but he looks 100% fit now and has been one of our most consistent performers since the turn of the year. His displays haven’t gone un-noticed either, as he was rewarded with a new contract just last week.

All I can say is wow. What a player, i can’t believe what i saw, he hardly put a foot wrong. We all remember Theo in this game but dig a bit deeper and you see that this man Rosicky is the one who run the show. Amazing touch, passing ability, driving forward, sensational. I completely attribute our recent form to the composure he brings, like a david silva or cesc or a combination of both. Wow
