[Video] Rafa van der Vaart Disappoints In The Keepy-Uppy Challenge

By on March 15, 2012

Tottenham attacker Rafael van der Vaart was the latest player to attempt the FA’s keepy-uppy challenge, and he didn’t exactly cover himself in glory.

Previous participants include Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson, who both got well over 100. You can check out the pair doing their attempts here. However, van der Vaart was only able to manage 14. For a skilful Dutchman that is hugely disappointing, even Paul Merson got over 40!

Maybe the problem was he was doing the challenge in his front room? Perhaps try somewhere with a little more space next time eh Rafa!? We found the video on the FA’s official youtube channel. Enjoy:

“Poultry” was quite funny though. Maybe he’ll get called for a fowl?
