Champions League Draw: Chelsea Face Benfica As Barcelona Await Winners

The draw for the quarter final and semi final stages of the Champions League has been conducted this morning and Chelsea have learned their route to the final.

Chelsea will fly the flag as England’s only remaining European representative and have been drawn to play Benfica in the quarter finals, with the first leg being away from home.

The other ties include: Apoel FC were first out the hat and drew Spanish giants Real Madrid, Marseille will face Bayern Munich while AC Milan will play current holders Barcelona.

Should the Londoners progress they will face either AC Milan or Barcelona in the semi finals, with the first leg being at Stamford Bridge. It means that to win the Champions League, Chelsea could have to beat Benfica, Barcelona and then Real Madrid in the final.
