As part of their summer rebuilding project, Chelsea are lining up a £64m triple swoop for Chieck Tiote, Tim Krul and strike Hulk, according to reports today.

Tiote - Chelsea target

Chelsea are lining up a £64m triple swoop as part of their summer rebuilding project, according to reports today.

Owner Roman Abramovich looks set to have one of his busiest summer at the Bridge, as he not only has to find a new manager to replace Andre Villas-Boas, but he will also have to oversee the revamping of his Chelsea squad in order to make them title-challengers once again.

Chelsea target Newcastle Pair

According to the Independent, Newcastle duo Cheick Tioté and Tim Krul have been identified as two key signings this summer, and the Blues are prepared to pay £30m for their services.

The report claims that Tioté has attracted interest from the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool in recent months, but Chelsea are prepared to offer Newcastle £20m for his signature.

The 25-year-old has been a revelation on Tyneside since his move from Twente in 2010 and is seen by Chelsea officials as the defensive midfielder they require to offer protection to their backline

Krul has also been one of Newcastle’s most consistent performers this season and the Independent claim Chelsea are finally ready to replace Petr Cech and see the 23-year-old Dutchman as the perfect candidate. They are confident a £10m bid will be enough to persuade Alan Pardew into selling and it would represent a huge profit on the £200,000 they spent on him in 2005.

Hulk fee agreed

The next part of Abramovich’s rebuilding project is striker Hulk, with the Telegraph reporting that the Blues have already held negotiations with Porto and successfully struck a £34m deal to sign the Brazilian this summer.

The report claims that the 25-year-old has an £85m release clause in his contract, but Chelsea have been able to agree a reduced fee due to the fact the player has personally asked to leave Portugal this summer.

They also suggest that Chelsea will attempt to partner Hulk with Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao in what will be a formidable strike force if they land the pair.

Well refreshing is the right word. Malouda, Bosingwa, Drogba, meireles, Mikel and Ferriera shud all be let go. its about time we bring through some youngsters and give them a go… people like Bertrand, Hutchinson, Romeu and Lukaku. De bruyne, kakuta and McEachran should be given 1 full season of loan in bpl. If right players are brought in along with these kids, people like Hamsik, Tiote, Cabaye, Jovetic and Willian than we will have the installed some fresh creativity and make a solid team for the future.

Dude point of correction mikel is not an old player and non of those young stars you mentioned are better than him and i think meireles is a good rotation player and can still player for two season….what do you think is daniel sturrige’s problem now, in-experience he plays like a child and doesn’t go with the team so selfish….so if you wanna talk about young stars bring the ones that can play at a professional level.

I think it’s going be a fantastic partnership.i can’t wait to see a deadly falcao and hulk at stamford bridge as well as modric in the midfield.premiership is in trouble.

Chelsea has the quality to win any team provided they players play with their hearts and brain. This will sound crazy to someone’s ears but it is true that chelsea do not need tiote nor hulk. Tiote is good but .not better than essien, romeo, mikel & raul. I dont see hulk excelling in chelsea. He is not as creative as hamsik, mata & eyen chelsea’s new recruit-bryun. To make matters worst, bastos of lyon is prefered to him in d brazilian team. I will prefer williams or Levezzi because of their speed,,skills & creativity. Falcao(£35-£45) is not necessary because he is not nearer to torres. I wil prefer cavani if drogba leaves provided he is not more than £25m. Krul is not d perfect replacement of cech but the young man loaned to atletico madrid

I think d best uption 4chelsea 2 get Hulk, Krul, Facao, Nyemar,Vander weid,n 1 spanish attacking midfilder n 1 winger. Then release kalon, malouda, Lampard, Benayoun, drogba, fererrer, n bosingwa. So that chelsea can win trophies next season. I remain Blues 4 life.

Bring in Hulk is gud.krul is no way beta dan cech so chelsea should leave him.chelsea should bring in creative players like modric, pastore or even kaka.

Tim krul is good 2 assist cech, hulk is a not ideal, i prefer my tores. We have plenty of defensive midfielders that are good. All d need is chance 2 expres themselves. Plz sturridge shld b caution of his style of play. It is very selfish and falcoa and wiliams shld b our top target or hamsik and cavani
