Arsenal secured a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Everton thanks to an early Thomas Vermaelen header, and with Tottenham drawing 1-1 at home to Stoke, the Gunners are now third in the league.

Arsenal came flying out the blocks and took the lead after just eight minutes when Thomas Vermaelen headed home a Van Persie corner to put us 1-0 up. We could have scored at least another two in the next 20 minutes, Ramsey and Van Persie both squandered chances to extend the lead.

But Everton came back into the game and were arguably the better side in the second half, but we hung on to secure a vital away win. Tonight could hardly have gone better for Arsenal, with Tottenham drawing at home, Liverpool losing 3-2 at QPR and Chelsea losing 2-1 at City. Six wins from six. What a comeback!
