    Walcott rvp podolski
    gervinho bendtner vela
    Chamberlain afobe ryo

honestly looking at our forwards i dont know why we bothered with chamakh and park? i would quite happily revert to these 9 as our forward line ups thus selling chamakh park and arshavin that should easily give us enough cash to pay for podolski and vertonghen. hopefully we could then raise enough cash from selling/releasing almunia squillaci djourou denilson benayoun to make bids for mvila isla and hazard. for me that is all that is really required.

Had they both stayed they wouldn’t be scoring. Vela would have been warming the bench as would Bendtner. Only he would be doing it whilst complaing about a lack of game time and upsetting the dynamic. Bendtner needed to leave so that we could get more for him in the summer and Vela needed to get some more confidence from playing regularly. Which he wouldn’t have got had he stayed.
It was actually the best move he could have made it turns out. As he’s finally starting to show what he is capable of and that he’s not just a lobber!

I’ve always rated bendtnob. He’s not as good as he thinks he is but he will be great 1 day!
